During the 2016-2017 academic year, Tulane University School of Public Health & Tropical Medicine developed three lunchtime seminars offered in a series called Racing Towards Equity, which focused on how different forms of oppression affect health outcomes. Each training session incorporated a segment of the APHA 2016 webinar “Quantifying Racism to Understand and Address Health Disparities”. The Racing Towards Equity lecture series was facilitated in partnership with the Diversity and Health Equity Learning Collaborative.
